Return & Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy

  • You may cancel your order within 24 hours of placing it, provided that:
    • The order has not yet been shipped, and
    • No customization (e.g., fall, pico, tassels) has been added.
  • Only unstitched garments like sarees, stoles, and dupattas are eligible for cancellation. Apparel, fabrics, and stitched garments cannot be cancelled once ordered.
  • To cancel, please email us at vandanasareesofficial@gmail.com with your Order ID and reason for cancellation.
  • If eligible, you may choose between:
    • Store credit for the full amount, or
    • A refund to your original payment method (bank/payment gateway charges will be deducted).
  • Refunds, once processed, may take 3–5 business days to reflect depending on your bank.

Return Policy

  • Returns are accepted only in the following cases:
    • You received a product with a manufacturing defect
    • You received an incorrect item
  • Returns will not be accepted for:
    • Color variation due to screen settings or lighting differences
    • Minor weaving irregularities (inherent to handwoven fabrics)
    • Complimentary services like fall or tassel addition
    • Fabrics, apparel, stitched items, or customized orders
  • You must email your return request to vandanasareesofficial@gmail.com within 48 hours of receiving the parcel. Requests after this window will not be eligible for return.
  • Include the following in your email:
    • Order ID
    • Reason for return
    • Clear photos of the defect or incorrect product (if applicable)
    • Bank details for refund if required
  • Do not accept any parcel that appears tampered, damaged, or unsealed. If this happens, please take a photo and contact us immediately.
  • If your return is authorized, you must send the product back in original condition (unused, unwashed, with tags and bill intact) within 5 days of approval.
  • Returns are accepted via courier only. We do not accept returns in our offline store.
  • After we receive and inspect the product, you can choose:
    • A refund (less banking and shipping charges), or
    • Store credit for the full amount
  • Refunds will be processed within 7 business days after product approval. The actual time to reflect may vary by bank.

Exchange Policy

  • Exchanges are accepted within 5 days of delivery only if:
    • The product is unused and uncustomized (no fall/tassels added)
    • You report the issue via email within the stipulated time
  • To initiate an exchange, email vandanasareesofficial@gmail.com with:
    • Your Order ID
    • Reason for exchange
  • After approval, we will arrange a reverse pickup. You can exchange for any available item of equal or higher value by placing a fresh order.
  • All exchanges must meet the following conditions:
    • Product must be in original packaging
    • Tags and bill must be intact
    • Product must be unused and unfolded
  • We do not accept exchanges for:
    • Fabrics, stitched garments, or custom orders
    • Items tried on or used
  • Exchanges are processed only through our online platform. Our offline stores do not facilitate exchange requests.
  • In case of international orders:
    • The customer bears customs/duty for both the return and new item
    • To and fro shipping charges are applicable
  • We reserve the right to refuse future exchange requests if our policies are repeatedly misused.

Disclaimer

  • If the parcel is tampered, damaged, or unsealed upon delivery, do not accept it. Please click a photo and report it immediately by email.
  • No returns or exchanges will be accepted for items bought during Sale or Clearance promotions.
